Outback Power OpticsRE cannot create account

Hi, new to this forum.
Had to replace my two failed Xantrex SW3012 inverters because nearby lightning zapped them. Again. Purchased and installed an Outback GS8048a, so far so good. Got the Mate3s connected to internet and OPTICSRE Status "Connected". So far so good.

Attempting to setup an account on opticsre.com but the confirmation email never arrives. I've confirmed the email address is entered correctly by retrying the new account setup - get error "Email already in use" message. I own the domain/server and maintain the server and have since the late 90s. No messages come, not even in junk folder.

Last week, I reported to Outback Power Tech chat line on their website, tech person said they would report to IT. No response. Days pass, reported to tech (via chat) again, they said they have no response from IT. I asked it be escalated. She said "I'll try". Last attempt was a few days ago. This time I received an email stating the case had been opened - confirming my email is NOT the problem.

What the hek is going on at Outback? I chose this inverter, in part, for the OpticsRE service.
Note: I saw the Mate3 USB daughter board and related menu structure, streaming, command and response formats. Started writing a library to make my own interface. Then learned the USB adapter is not supported on the Mate3s. Increased disappointment.

Anyone have knowledge about OpticsRE not being supported? Tech support at Outback Power is virtually useless. It appears I've made a very expensive mistake by purchasing an Outback Power Product.

Sorry for the long rant. Frustrated.
16 (4 series X 4 parallel) 220w 12v panels 48v array
4 Epever charge controllers (now being replaced with Midnight Solar Classic 150 MPPT)
Outback Power GS8048a inverter
16 AGM batteries (4 series x 4 parallel) 48v battery
Powers 3 bedrooms, well pump and refrigerator. Can transfer to commercial power if needed.
My house has an additional AC Load center with it's own outlets - one in each room. i.e. Two separate electrical systems. Commercial power has white outlets. Solar power has gray outlets. Can switch between commercial power or solar as needed.

You can search the forum here but Outback was sold and has been in big trouble for a year now.
I will take a look at a client on optics. More than half the time it has been down...

Thank You, Dave. Fortunately I learned about this before pulling the trigger on the Outback charge controller. Ordered a Midnight Solar Classic 150 yesterday. Hopefully this Outback inverter wont need service for many years.

I would still want the outback CC as it will network with the Outback Radian.  Lose alot of data that is easy to get with devices on same network.

I use a Radian also, but have no internet connection, so I have never used the Optics RE remote monitoring site. The information on the Mate3s is sufficient to see what is happening. The Radian is rock solid and has never had a problem.

A couple of links on the outback forum below. Optics seems to be a thorn in the flesh lately.  But it has been up and running good according to the forum lately.

I would post on the forum there and you might find some help.
