Automatic Blinds

We Have great southern exposure at our off grid cabin.   It is largely a weekend destination, and I am looking at some creative ways to keep it “warmer” when we are not around.  I was looking for motorized blinds for several of the windows we normally close.   The heating we could get from having the shades open during the sunny part of the day could do some considerable heating of the cabin.   I am looking for feedback from folks who are using motorized blinds, what brands, power requirements; specifically if there are any solar powered blinds.  Thanks in advance

Have used the Levelor and hunter douglas electric blinds. If you pick the right model, they are good for a 30% federal tax credit. They must be listed as for the tax credit. The exact model, if you got audited. Must be listed of form 4576 on your 1040. Just like the solar tax credit 😎😎

It is amazing how much heat you can pull in ! You do have to close them up fast when the sun goes down. Unattended would be as always, a big challenge. Just about everything unattended is a pain!
Much easier to be there😉  Almost Happy Hour !
