What are you trying to do?

To get data out to "any phone" you need the Schneider Home device or the old Schneider combox. These devices work with apple or droid.

Dave, thanks for the reply. I made an error in the request.  I have the 6848+ with the scp and com box. Do not know why I referred to the scp only, ( old age maybe I seem to make these mistakes more frequently with time 81 yo ).  My  lap top with windows 7 communicates well with the com box but the computer is getting tired so now I would like to use with the Apple iPhone and iPad  but have not seen an app available for the Apple.
    Again Thanks

I do not think combox ever got the mobile app going for apple. Combox was replaced with Schneider Home before because there were large security holes in combox. I would be careful if you are web connected and do any financials on your puter.

Below is a Home device connected to the cloud for the mobile app. They sell Home in the store here!

Thanks Dave, this is the answer I needed. Will look into the Home device.
I appreciate your help on this issue.

For some reason, the InsightMobile service used by the IoS Insight Mobile app is down today.  Hopefully they are doing some maintenance or updates.

By the way the hardware unit that you need to get online via phone or ipad is called an Insight Home and it connects to your system by Xanbus and then to your router by LAN or WiFi.

The mobile app has Bluetooth capability too, but I have never been able to figure out what it can connect to.

Thanks for the additional info. My system is complete DIY 10 years ago but now all this technology seems to be a barrier for me. In some cases firmware having to be compatible and the possibility of bricking one I think I am better off sticking with the scp and com box.
I haven't posted much but have read this forum a lot ( almost every day ). I would have to say I could not have accomplished the project without the reliable information gathered from this forum, especial BB , Dave, yourself and many others.
My system started as grid tie only. 3 tracking arrays totaling 14 kw with 2 Schneider tx 5000 and 1 SMA 3000 then added for emergencies a 600v transfer switch to 2 80A 600V controllers and the 6848+ plus 600A bank of agm batteries.

    Thanks wayne

Anyone who does DIY needs to be as up to speed as folks like me who do this for a living. Especially doing firmware or smart phone integration. The system does warn you but, people do not read it.

Just be super careful Wayne if the Combox is connected to the internet. Bad guys and gals are out there!

A decent IT person can set this up/update FW also.
It is not that hard,  but,
    it needs attention to detail.
