Hello everyone  :)  :)

I could really appreciate some advice from the professionals here as I m new to solar energy. I want to be sure that I m taking the best strategy when I m installing a solar-powered system for a modest off grid cabin. Since the cabin is mostly utilized on weekends and for brief visits; I m attempting to strike a compromise between cost and functionality, particularly with regard to battery storage.

I m assuming that the four 300W panels I presently have; which I intend to install on the roof; will provide enough electricity for my requirements throughout the day. I would like to know, if this panel capacity is suitable for weekend use.

This is where I m truly at a loss. I m debating between lithium ion and lead acid batteries; but I m not sure which is the better choice. Although lead acid is initially less expensive; I am aware that lithium ion offers benefits like efficiency and a longer lifespan. I m willing to pay a little bit more if it implies longer term dependability and less upkeep, I would appreciate any suggestions for battery kinds & brands that are suitable for sporadic off grid use.

I hve been considering a 3000W inverter; which ought to be sufficient to meet the cabin  power requirements. if that seems excessive or inadequate; do let me know. Choosing a charge controller that works with my panel and battery configuration is another thing I need help with. I would like feedback on both MPPT and PWM controllers; however I am leaning toward MPPT after seeing both suggested.

A small refrigerator; LED lights, and the occasional laptop and power tool are my main appliances. Avoiding surprises and using as little electricity as possible are my goals.
I would be very grateful for any guidance on load management and component selection to optimize efficiency Since I would not always be present to keep an eye on the system; I m also looking for advice on how to make sure it functions well with little supervision.

I appreciate any assistance you may provide in preparation and look forward to hearing about everyone experiences. <3:)
