Schneider Electric, All Charge Controllers Discontinued?

Hi everyone!
Schneider Electric add a note on their site to all charge controllers to be discontinued.
MPPT100, MPPT80. MPPT60.  Anybody here have intel or inside information on what's going on? without charge controllers, then, the XW and SW lines are useless.
Please advice!

I think you are a bit short on being right. From the store NAZ here below.

I think the OP is correct, in that Schneider says on their website that all three models of SCC are "To Be Discontinued".  I'm sure all the vendors (including NAZ) are selling them until there are no more to sell.

It appears they are discontinuing  their monitoring equipment. Could they be replacing it all with new products? Makes no sense, if not.

Pretty weird and out of the blue!  I eat my previous words...

Things are getting weird and getting weird fast quote from Elon.

The new product Schneider Solar Home is really not for sale retail. Not in the store here.

The demise of Outback and now this unexplained burp and appearance of abandoning one of the best platforms for home power is not good. The coming days may explain more. I hope so!

Really sad to see this. I have liked and installed their equipment through the years. Seems Schneider, being such a large company, doesn't have their heart into Solar any more.
Reminds me of how all the petroleum companies jumped into PV panel production in the 70's and, one by one, dropped out of PV manufacture.

P.S. I can't even find the venerable C-40 and C-60 controllers on their site either.

This is what they want to sell above and it is not DIY. Going in the Powerwall direction. You can see all the Chicom all in one solutions in the last 5 years. They are taking the market.

I must have 25 solar installers I know using the likes of Solark. To be fair the talent to install is not what it use to be either.

The dumbing down of our culture !   Cheers !

Just got this in from my S contact!

    Hi Dave,

After doing some digging, the discontinuation notification was a mistake.

Sorry for the confusion. It will take about a day for the website to be fixed.

Haven't gotten through the whole video yet but was, One, impressed and Two, surprised that the battery modules are only 10Kwand can only parallel 3units. I realize they are aiming at the grid tied people but don't most  on grid people burn over 30 Kw a day?

Yes most are more than 30Kwh, but Home is for back-up for an outage that is short. Also selling battery at Peak rates.

It is not really for offgrid but will have a generator input ( Tesla PW3 does not) along with smart phone panel/load shedding ( Tesla PW3 does not).  Along with Tesla,  S plans to have a network of installers.
Tesla has both internal Tesla guys and external Tesla guys. A nice choice for the consumer as the company guys have Elon behind them more than the private guy's. Also location is an issue. That is my take from when Home started 2 years back. Even further back as Schneider had a project named Omnia that never made it in 2017.  It was the first All in one I know of but...

30KWH useable is pretty good even for offgrid. It does keep the weight and cost down for sales. If you are grid tied and smart about loads you could do well. Also the Schneider large company warranty that many others can't stand by if things get tuff.

Dang ! Late for Happy Hour, Cheers!

Very confusing info, as make no sense to someone list all charge controllers "to de discontinued" by mistake, and keep it like that for more than a month.
Only thing that may lead to that mistake is they told the webmaster "make this changes to the web page and sent it to us for approval" and the guy give the approval to soon

I have installed a couple off the new all in one schneider in PR
It is a very fast and easy installation.
But I don't like it have a lot of limitations that the XW line didn't have.
    like:
    1. cant charge batteries with generator
    2. máximum of 30kwh in batteries
    3. cant stack to inverters
    4. Can search the market for the best battery alternative for the client, only the boost battery

I've used Midnight controllers with my Schneider inverters for years now.  Why is no-one mentioning that?
    System 1) 15 Renogy 300w + 4 250W Astronergy panels,  Midnight 200 CC, 8 Trojan L16 bat., Schneider XW6848 NA inverter, AC-Delco 6000w gen.
System 2) 8 YingLi 250W panels, Midnight 200CC, three 8V Rolls batteries, Schneider Conext 4024 inverter (workshop)

I do not hear that Schneider is cancelling the mppts. My sources say no and it was a typo.

We only use equipment that talks on the xanbus network and are quite happy with what that does.

If the mppts went away, I would also.   https://solar.se.com/us/en/

Dave, Is this page that I got off the link you posted the mistake you had mentioned?

Yes that page is correct !  You are seeing 2nd gen XW+ and greybox XW along with all the other gear that is retired.   Current is 3rd gen XW pro and the mppts, insight, and support gear.

Would like to point out that all retired equipment that was sold legitimately carries its warranty, up to the 10 years that it sold with. Covered by a very large world wide company.

Grid tie burning through more than 30KWh a day- Hey, I resemble that remark! HAHA. Wife turned down the thermostat this summer, really burning through the power. Might put up more panels...

I know I'm off topic but couldn't help myself!

9000+W grid tied IQ7 22 panel rooftop and 6 panel ground combination with 1 additional IQ7 connected to 500W wind turbine+200w solar+2 IQ7s with 300W+600W on the RV grid tied when it's in the driveway.

It would be best if you did start a new topic. I do not think it is a good thing to keep this topic alive unless it is true. Alot of US and Canadian jobs come out of Schneider electric. The store here that pays for this is also a player in selling Schneider equipment.
