max amp in controller

HI  guys how are you today you are helping a lot

A next question about solar panel in parallel, my mppt controller is 60a  and 150v max input.

using 2   500w panel in parallel  will raise or add the Amp but will it damage the controller or what is the max amp input for these  60a controller?

    Panel specifications and manufacturer would help as well as specifications and manufacturer of your charge controller to answer your questions best. That way you get specific answers based on your equipment.

    Typical amperage out at full sun is appoximately 10 to 11 amps with 480 watt panels I have installed. So if we take 11 amps plus another 11 amps in parallel and combine them at a combiner box, there would be 22 amps going to the charge controller.

    Reading the operation / maintenance manual for your controller should get you answer you need.

    You should share us the specifications of the panels before you get a specific answer. I think SumPower has answered your question very clearly.
