Hi!
I recently noticed that my MPPT 60-150 disappeared from Xanbus - no device in Combox showing and my own Modbus logs show that it can not be reached via Modbus. Alas, I am on a trip, so I can not physically look at what is happening. I asked my daughter to look at the controller and seems to be alive.

Can anyone elaborate on what might be happening? The whole setup worked fine for about 10 years now.

Might be a failing xanbus cable or a loose xanbus cable. Try replacing the xanbus cable or cables running to the MPPT. Also check torque on all cables/wires.

This happened to us. System was working, however MPPT not showing on SCP in our case. Torque was proper all around. Replaced xanbus cable and all is well.

In our case the MPPT is at one end of the xanbus chain.

On a similar note, upon startup this fall (seasonal use home) the system showed only 2/3 of our battery capacity.  All batteries showed full voltage with the Fluke multi meter and were within 0.10 volts of each other.

Turned out to be a loose com cable on one of the three batteries.

A wise man (Dave A.) once told me to always check the connections 😀

Hope it’s this simple for you.
