Need software to let my SMA SIs "talk" to a Trimetric Solar Charge Meter or similar meter

Am hoping  to be able reliably  to find out at any time what my real/actual SOC (state of charge) is. For now, my Master SI 5048U is claiming my SOC is "43%"....while at the same time showing "FULL" for the vertically stacked array of 6 interconnected 5.1kW 48V LiFePower batteries I got through Signature Solar.

Are you asking if you need software? The Tri-Metric can be entirely independent of the rest of your system. The shunt simply mounts to the negative output of your battery and everything else, (loads and charging), mount on the outside of the shunt. As long as it is properly programmed, it will give an accurate SOC %'age

2.1 Kw Suntech 175 mono, Classic 200, Trace SW 4024 ( 15 years old  but brand new out of sealed factory box Jan. 2015), Bogart Tri-metric,  460 Ah. 24 volt LiFePo4 battery bank. Plenty of Baja Sea of Cortez sunshine.

This should be compatible with your SMA devices. It will allow interface between the EG4 battery bank and the SMA and should report the bank's SOC to the SMA(s).
    https://signaturesolar.com/EG4-LiFePOWER4-Communications-Hub
    • Interprets and translates various BMS protocols for your EG4 batteries including:
      • Sol-ark, Victron, SMA, Sofar, Aiswei, Solis, Pylon, SMK, Growatt, Schneider, BlueSun, and EG4

    • Simplifies and optimizes your solar power system

    • Compatible with 48V EG4-LiFePOWER4 batteries only

    • Enhances closed-loop communication

    • Provides a readout for each battery as well as the entire bank

    • Real-time monitoring to quickly identify any issues
I do not use it. I use one EG4-LLV2 combined with five EG4 Lifepower4's. I am able to use custom firmware that way because the LLV2 is capable of the housekeeping required to do so. Without a LL-V2 the communications hub linked above is required.
