Looks like you will need to batten it down for the coming weather!

That's a fact Marc. This will be my 3rd hurricane in 5 years. . They've been mostly mild, relatively speaking. Probably 70 mph at peak so I guess technically, not quite a hurricane each time. Still a pretty good spanking.
Looks like the Pacific side is going to get the worst of it.

But the rain cone looks like you may see some serious water flow!

Rain is good. The desert loves it. Wind, not so much.

Pretty telling graphic there. I have friends in Todos santos. They're staring right down the 140 mph barrel at the moment.

Imagine out on Socorro. It is off bounds to sailors unless you have an emergency. The standard ploy is to hoist a damage sail or tarp and stay as long as you can before the Navy checks you. OUTSTANDING fishing and langouste.  Hope they all left days ago. They are saying the track is a once in 80 year storm for SoCal and San Diego. Looks like tomorrow night south of you a bit.

    the Revillagigedo Islands
Occasionally referred to as the Socorro Islands, this set of four islands that lie approximately 240 miles southwest of Cabo San Lucas are actually named the Revillagigedo Islands. The largest island of this archipelago has the name of Socorro, which is where the term Socorro Islands comes from.

As Hillary heads north and crosses to the east of the Cascades into WA it looks like we will miss out on any of its remaining rain. Darn. We are in severe fire risk season and dearly in need of that moisture. But those who will get it off to the east of us are quite fortunate for the same reason.

YIKES!! Gonna be rough. The worst quarter,(upper right) will be what we get in the San Felipe area. Looks like Todos Santos got hit pretty hard.

Good news is it is down to tropical storm and it is moving fast.  The bad is you are not in the navigable semi circle.😉

Should be in San Diego after lunch.  Fill your tanks!   Buena's Suerte !

I do not doubt you a bit. Not good times. Much better on the land though. We only had to do our ditch plan once on the boat. Once was enough.

TAKE CARE and wear your eye protection if you go out. Stay grounded and shut down/disco all  wiring to outdoors if you get lightning. That is up there on the list of how to stay safe.

Sheesh Dave, you could moonlight as a weatherman.
Matter of fact I'm on my way over to some friends house for post storm cocktails in 10 minutes. Minor issue, it decided to start raining again. I'm heading over in my RZR. Cant take the beach because there's a huge storm surge and massive waves so I gotta take the trails over there. Probably going to be flinging mud the whole way, bummer.  :D

Down near La Paz my client said.
Nothing but great memories for us in the 90's decade. Not sure now about the cartels on the mainland near the border.
Sun is out! Have a good one!
