Fault PV-OC-OVD

GGood morning my able engineer sir, please I need little challenge on mppt controller, it showing Fault: PV-OC-OVD. Please how can I resolve this. Thanks and waiting for possible response from you sir

"OVD" probably means Over Voltage Disconnect... PV means the photo voltaic array (Solar Panels). Not sure what "OC" means (Over Current or Open Circuit????).

My first check would be to check the input solar panel voltage to the MPPT controller. Depending on the brand and model, you could have 60 volt, 100 volt, 140-150 volt, 600 volt, etc. as the maximum array input voltage.

We need to know the maximum Vpanel input voltage rating for your MPPT controller (you are welcome to post a link to your Brand/Model/Specifications of your controller).

Also it would be nice to know the solar panel Vmp/Imp/Voc/Ioc ratings of your panels, and how you have wired the solar array (all in parallel, 2x in series, 3x in series, etc. to figure out the intended solar array working voltage)?

Solar Charge Controllers can also have low and high voltage disconnects for the battery bank too... I.e., if the controller is set for 12 VDC and connected to a 24 volt battery bank, it might also do an OVD (over voltage disconnect)....
