Interesting article with several pages about that other important ingredient in LiFePO4 batteries: Phosphate.

Looks like they haven't quite labelled the internal components correctly in their schematic diagram of typical 18650 cell architecture, but it was news to me that Morocco has the largest phosphate reserves.  Also interesting to see the relative proportions of the ingredients in a LiFePO4 cell.
