Accessing BMS Tools software data

I am using BMS Tools v2.06 to monitor my EG4 LiFePO4 batteries. What I would like to do is capture a single value, SOC % (state of Charge) and pass that value to something like a JSON file. The goal is to be  able to use the charge percentage as a condition for home automation using something like IFTTT.
The BMS Tools software writes its data to a file called WORK.mdb. My question is; has anyone already written a script that would do this, and/or is there any interest in coding this?
