Hello experts ineed advice on how to solve " ex absorb msg" on my 2nd flex max 80.

I have just upgraded . I Have installed 2 kilowatts of panels on my second flexmax 80.

there is a msg on screen : saying ex absorb" ever since i installed the identical flex max 80.

i have made sure the float / absort are set exact for both charge controllers?

what other settings do i need to make them work TOGETHER.

Thankyou.

First thing that pops up when Googling your problem Right from Outback

"If your charge controller (FM60 or FM80) shows 'EX-Absorb' on the local display, this indicates there is an additional external source holding the batteries above the charge controller's absorb voltage. This could be a secondary charge controller or another 3rd party source charging the battery".

yes, i googled that too , sadly that doesn't tell any notice or even experts  how to fix it. but i found a fix.
the fix is to set the 2nd cc absorb higher . soooooooooo for my 24v that now is bumped up to 30.4 ( the material i found said if was 12v to bump up .2) so since i'm 24v i bumped up .4 (make sense )  and i left it normal ( 30.0) on the primary cc. That is the fix and honestly should be noted in outback's manual. I would think that this is common scenario meaning People who are running 24v systems can only do 2000-2500.00 max array per cc. Meaning a person who lives full time  off grid will need many cc's to make living comfortable.

Now today both cc's are hitting absorb mode , all working correctly. So plz feel free to share info.

so many are saying wrong advice . to check connection, check cables . etc.
i'm an honest lad and tell it just like it is.
