Generator Power to Batteries Low

I have a Schneider Context XW Pro 6848 and Champion 6.8kW Generator. The Generator is charging the batteries but is only outputting less than half what it should be, around 3kW. The Generator is hooked up to AC2 and the breaker size is 30A and the max charge rate is at 100%. Is there another setting I'm missing to increase the amount the Inverter is pulling from the Generator? I also have Generator Support on at 16A but I don't see how that would effect anything.
When I used the same Generator last winter during that big winter storm in February, it seemed to be charging much faster as I was getting around 1% charge per minute. Now it is around 1% per 5 minutes or less.
