My gas well died and am amazed how hard it is to get a propane tank. ! dealer told me I would have to wait for 3 months till they could get me a tank. Another dealer told me till February. A 500 gal. tank In western pa. cost a lot. The cheapest I could find was $2950.00 new and most cost up to $3200.00 I finally found a reconditioned 500 gallon for $2400.00 and can get gas delivered and set up on wendsday this week. It is a good time to sell an unused tank if you do not want it any more.

How much are they charging for propane now?

Solar dave. I got my tank installed on dec 15 2021 and the price I paid was $2.06 if I had my own tank. If you don,t own your own tank it was $250.00 and you had rental fees for the tank. Now I think I will install my sanyo mini split that I bought in 2010 and never installed it. .
