Hope this is okay, but hoping you will elaborate on this comment you made yesterday

If one's panel output is adequate then I can see only two ways to follow your advice. 1)-Have a battery small enough that your night time loads alone pull you down to 90% soc (which would be a very small battery) or 2)- turn off your panels several times a week.
You do this stuff, really? Both choices seem impractical on many fronts so am sure I'm missing something fundamental.
Also, not relating to #1 but do you suggest sizing your battery in any way to increase your dod percentage?
