Inverter / Generator help

Hey friends….Hoping for some guidance with  Generac guardian series generator working with SolarEdge EnergyHub inverter and BUI / ATS. 

SolarEdge doesn’t support control of the Generac through the BUI like they initially told us.  Now we’ve got a few installed; SolarEdge tells us we need a firmware update, but they have no timeline on its launch.  We are getting zero help from SolarEdge.  

Does anyone have advice on how we get the generator working as a backup power source and how is the gen wired in to the BUI (with schematics if possible). Advice? Or something that would work?

I am doing the same thing. Solaredge BUI with a Generac Guardian 16KV. Anyone had success wiring this? I am assuming the relay contacts will provide the autostart, but don't want to burn something up by simulating contact closure and shorting.
