My array is 400-500 ft from the my main panel (100 amp GE). Pursuing the idea of CT clamps with a wireless smart energy (most have an ethernet connection) located at main panel in ABS weather proof, NEMA enclosure. Would communicate with my SMA data manager which will be located at array 4-500 ft away.
Still learning and researching....Sma data manager, I believe requires RS485, modbus, WAGO 750 I/O system?
Any input, advice much appreciated...
In simple terms, not interested in stringing a 400 ft ethernet cable
