Family time is the best time!

I have 5 daughters and 11 Grandkids - never enough time.
One of our daughters was in town with her family, so we took a boat ride after a cold front blew through. It was 65F when we left, but it quickly warmed up under a clear and sunny sky. Our lake is two feet low, but my son in law and grandsons got in some backyard fishing time, while I had some Bratwurst on the grill. We are heading for 84F to 86F over the weekend so we will be burning some gas in the boat, but at $2.13 per gallon, it is worth it.
October really is yet another great boating month on our lake. We have the three B's on the schedule:  Boating, Beer and BBQ grilling. We hit the lake first, then head back in for beer and BBQ grilling.

Today at daybreak the air was 46F, so the lake was steaming because the water is still warm. it hit 78F in the afternoon.
