    Welcome to the forum USMC20,

I could not find anything on their website other than their product page for CANBus hardware:

    https://lithiumwerks.com/valence-batteries/accessories/

Looks like you will have to contact them directly for PC (WIndows?) CANBus software.

Just contacts at the bottom of the page:

    https://lithiumwerks.com/contact/

The last one is a Webform that asks all of the basic questions--Who are you, and what do you need.

Couple of locations in the USA:

    https://lithiumwerks.com/about/locations/

Otherwise, the only link that they have from their data sheets is the first "contact" link I posted here.

Perhaps I am missing something? Are you having problems getting the website/contact forms to work? Or have you tried contacting them, and you are not getting any callback?

I personally do not have any "contacts" with them or in the industry... Perhaps somebody else here may have some more information in the next couple of days (we are all volunteers here--And read/post to the forum when "life lets us").

I've worked with Valence in the past. Typically they need to know you have their products before they send you the software.

I know this is an old posting.  As of 2023 July thru August, I have tried to contact lithiumwerks.com and have left messages on their website and called and left phone massages for both support and sales. Here it is September and still no response from any of the contacts.  I was hoping to pay them flash or reprogram the U-BMS-LVs I have, or provide me with instructions how to flash them, or at least tell me someone who does.  Very poor customer support. I guess if you didn't buy the batteries directly from them, they won't deal with you.  If anyone recently has figured a way to get support, please let us know.  I'm still trying to flash my U-BMSs for my U27-12xp batteries.

Looks like theVAlence battery group was sold to Lithion in 2020:

    https://lithiumwerks.com/about/history/

    Sold Modular Business Unit
Lithium Werks sold its Valence module and BMS assets to Lithion Power Group

Confirmation that Lithion is the "new owner:

    https://www.lithionbattery.com/news/valence-successfully-recertifies-ece-r100-r2-module-tests-for-commercial-ev-applications-in-europe/

July 6th, 2021 – Lithion Battery has received confirmation from renowned test agency, DEKRA, of a successful completion of ECE R100 Revision 2 testing on both the 12 Volt and 24 Volt models of Valence’s U-Charge® U27 lithium ion batteries.

Lithion acquired Valence in late 2020 and has embarked on a mission-oriented certification strategy that will encompass Valence and next generation products. Evolving battery products include a range of high energy, cost-effective battery solutions manufactured in North America at Lithion’s brand new state-of-the art, 80,000 sq/ft facility located in Henderson, Nevada, USA.

Lithion has employed a strategy of testing, where possible, at the module-only level - that is without the protective aid of the Valence Battery Management System (BMS - which is designed to provide system level protection through contactors and other safety devices). Successfully passing R100 tests without a BMS demonstrates the inherent safety of Valence U-Charge modules. This outcome provides our customers confidence of the safety and suitability of Valence U-Charge Lithium ion battery modules, making them ideally suited to meet the rigors of commercial EV applications.

To address customer challenges, Lithion will continue to undergo testing to assist them through the arduous ECE R100 Revision 2 type approvals, mandatory for battery powered vehicles. This cost and time saving approach eliminates the need for our customers to repeat these tests during the final sign-off on their vehicles, which can dramatically reduce OEM time to market. Comprehensive assessment includes: vibration testing, thermal shock testing, fire resistance (immersion in fuel fire), over-temperature, over-charge and over-discharge testing.

“We are very excited to make this significant announcement, in conjunction with our approvals partner DEKRA”, states Brian Dargan, Managing Director, Lithion Battery EMEA. “These recent tests demonstrate the intrinsic safety of our Valence brand and speak to the decades of successful customer experiences with our battery module design. Customers have told us that by utilizing Valence battery modules, they expect to see a combination of reduced costs and shortened timeframe in their vehicle EV certification process for their commercial EV applications."

Don't know if this will help--But, in theory, these are the last guys known to "own" that battery tech.

    Good luck!
