High/Min temps outside of North America/Europe

Hi,
In the US I have always used ASHRAE data for designs. In South America I have largely been just using pretty conservative estimates in my designs, which has worked fine. It would be nice though to have accurate data from a reliable source, but it seems pretty difficult to get my hands on any ASHRAE data for international locations and it also looks like it would be relatively confined to major cities. Does anyone have a good resource - ideally comprehensive with info for many countries - with temperature data?
