NiZn Prismatic | ZAFSYShttps://zafsys.com/nizn-batteries/nizn-prismatic/
New market requirements and regulations are driving demand beyond what lead acid can provide. With over 30 years of development, ZAF has found a sustainable solution.
Been talking with ZAF about their G31 NiZn battery that will soon be available.
They will be first available in 12V configuration but I was told that a 48V version is in testing. Some specs at the bottom of the above link.
This sounds interesting and maybe a cost effective alternate for an AGM bank. They are supposed to have a C/20 rate of 200 Ah and lighter than a 100Ah AGM battery. I am thinking about giving them a serious look when my AGM bank croaks unless the SimpliPhi Li come down in price significantly.
No ties to this company but I'm always trolling around looking for an affordable alternative to Pb batteries. I don't want to suffer through a bullet shortage because all the lead is going into batteries!😁
