Parallel Stacking Conext 4048 w/ Xantrex 4024

I would assume this can be done as the Conext supports AC coupling. Has anyone tried this?

I would not even think of doing this. There is a reason that the old 4024 is obsolete.
Ac coupling has nothing to do with stacking BTW."we go where power lines don't" Sierra Nevada mountain area

Humor me just for technical discussion sake.
if you have a grid tied inverter, you would connect the SW AC line out to the GTI line out, in parallel, connected to loads, enable AC coupling in the Conext.
I am understanding the connections correctly yes? -
By default, AC coupling is enabled in a CSW so you don't have to do that part. There are technical reasons for doing this even offgrid.
Yes, I think your understanding is correct as long as the grid inverter supports the frequency shift or Curtailment.
Your post question was very questionable though....."we go where power lines don't" Sierra Nevada mountain area

Ok so theoretically the Xantrax 4024 will form the grid and the Conext 4048 will voltage and frequency match it’s output.
i understand your trepidation for promoting experimentation, lives are on the line.
Im an analytic. From a technical standpoint, what’s wrong with the idea? -
Now I do not think you get it. You keep changing the question. Spend 10 minutes looking up how curtailments works.
Hint, the old 4024 is not a grid inverter BTW, both need to behave to the spec of curtailment.
As for your life, it is up to you to take care of yourself and not do something dangerous.
standard disclaimer, this is the internet, when in doubt read the manual, consult an electrician, danger of arc flash and death."we go where power lines don't" Sierra Nevada mountain area

Dave,
I do get it. It’s the why I’m looking for -
What did your research show?
Besides the why it won't work (unless you had one of the very rare SW's that can sell and still works) the CSW in NA is 240 split phase and the old SW is 120vac"we go where power lines don't" Sierra Nevada mountain area
