Is it ok to bend a tinned copper 4/0 battery terminal lug?

I only need a couple of 45 degree lugs but not sure if I should try to bend my straight or 90 degree ones. Don't want to damage the surface. Am I being to timid - should I just throw it in a vice and tweak it a little?

Don't try to bend lugs (at all). Bend the wire with appropriate radius after the lug. If you're lucky, the lug will break when you try to bend it. If you aren't lucky, it will break later.Off-grid.

Good enough, no bending. I didn't like the idea but thought I ask anyway. I'll order the right lugs that I need. Thanks
