what voltage are those Enphase battery units that were on Ask this old House,Hawaii last week???
The prices seem ridiculous... no surprise.....almost always debt involved somewhere...

I did not see that program,   but searching  on   '  enphase battery  '    ,yielded the following Data Sheet.  It states that the nominal battery V is 25.6 V:

I think ...
1) In the USA, the Enphase AC Battery attaches into the 240 Volt AC wires ( DC is not external )
2) You need an Envoy-S to manage the system

Looks like it could be compatible with any PV Array.
