Hi, I have two, plug in, 600 watt, solar GTI units. They are very nice, dependable and maintenance free. I am really impressed with the install and forget performance from these systems. I would be glad to answer any questions concerning this issue. I do believe the NEC is negligent by not formally addressing these systems. When properly installed, on a dedicated circuit, they are 100% safe.

The NEC doesn't "formally address" systems. ITLs do. The vendor of the nice, dependable, and maintenance free units you're happy with is free to get them tested for safety, and market their advantages.Off-grid.

It sounds like the manufacturer is negligent in having all the testing done properly before engaging in any sales.
Be wary.
