Can a Midnite controller "talk" to a Magnum inverter?

Hello
I have a houseboat at Lake Powell with a Magnum 4024 inverter connected to the Magnum ARC Panel (Advanced Remote Control). I'm using a Midnite Solar Classic 150 charge controller with my panel array.
My question is this - Is it possible for the Midnite charge controller to communicate with the Magnum inverter in order to display charge information on the ARC? The controller has a RS 485 communication port as does the inverter. I know this is possible with a Magnum PA controller, however the cost was higher than I wanted to pay.
Any help is appreciated.
