Alternative to the RedRok tracker controller? *or* does anyone know if Duane is dead or alive?

I built a tracker about 7 years ago using the redrock controller, life was good.
Recently it has stopped working, so I made the attempt to purchase a replacement. After about 8 emails and 6 phone call attempts, I'm left to wonder if Duane is dead or has just left the business.
Anyone have any idea what has happened?
Is there any alternative to his product so that I can get my tracker back running?
Thanks

I guess I'm going to give http://www.sbesolartech.com/mk3tracker.html a try. Guy seems legit.

I bought a single axis on ebay last year and the bench test was ok. I did not install it yet for actual use.
Here are some links.

One is a 3 amp and the other is a 8 amp.
Those sold on ebay look like the redrock.
Hope this helps.

Not knowing the costs involved with one of those control devices, You might do well to compare the price of another controller vs more panels and using a fixed 'virtual tracker'

Johann Those look interesting as well. I should have the SBE unit on Monday, and should take me about 3 mins to install, so I'll know soon!

If you get really desperate, Array Technology sells parts for there trackers. They are expensive and worth it. I have installed dozens of them. They are single, dual and the newer horizontal axis. The single and dual use a 24vdc motor and the horizontal uses an actuator like you have at 24vdc. They just keep tracking and the early failures 15 years ago have been long solved. They carry 125 and 250 square feet of solar."we go where power lines don't" Sierra Nevada mountain area
