MeanWell ISI series specs...

.
I just can't find any reviews anywhere...

I noticed the ISI-500-x12x series regulate the charging by plain ol ON n OFF, at 13.0 and 14.0 respectively... Isn't that rather crude; apparently the settings can't be adjusted.

As for the ISI-501, they just stay at 14.4 all day long until sunset!!! Kind of boils batteries in a tropical climate! Kinda sad for a MPPT. These perhaps should be reserved for pure charging and discharging? Like for a street light? Not for a cabin where someone can be using a laptop all day long?

Comments?

Hopefully a resistor divider bridge somewhere on the PCB can be "massaged"? Anybody has hacked these yet?
