One issue that many people have with Goal Zero products is that, while they provide a plug-and-play experience, that experience comes at a high price-point, especially for their PV panels. For instance, their Boulder 90 90-Watt panel has an MSRP of $449. That's a hefty premium, considering that one can pick up a Renogy 100-Watt monocrystalline panel for $149.99 shipped.

Fortunately, Goal Zero has finally added an MC4 to 8mm adapter cable to their Web store (one used to have to contact customer service to order one). That allows one to use a standard PV panel with Goal Zero Yeti-series solar generators, while still taking advantage of the Yeti's internal charge controller.

It's not for everyone, but I figured I'd at least put this out there for anyone interested.
