I have a outback fm60 on mu solar setup but it is about at its limits.
I have installed a ac wind generator with a rectifier. Could I use another one of these controllers for the wind generator also? Or would it be in compatible I read something about a load dump.

Re: Charge controller questions
The Fm60 may not be the best product for wind turbines in my opinion. Look at the Midnite Solar Classic 200 as an option. And yes, you would typically want a dump load. The load essentially allows the turbine to continue running and not overcharge the batteries. This is the dirt simple answer to your question. Midnite Solar has good info on this subject and they have all the components to do what you want.
What brand is the turbine?
