230V/50Hz inverters - where?

Hi there,

Assuming that many of the 110V/60Hz inverters in the states are also available for european 220-230V/50Hz applications.

I never managed to find any of those. And since I live in Chile, where whe have european voltages, I am in the business of one of those...

As bob said Outback sell euro spec 50 Hz models.
Magnum have just introduced two Modified 230 v 50 Hz Units with PFC.
Xantrex may have some SW euro spec units left, as they are not shipping the new XW system or the New Trace (DR Upgrade) in euro spec at the moment .

Hi,

I have an inverter from Victron Energy and I love it! It is very versatile and compact. Among other things it can be connected to a generator and charge your batteries through a built in charger. It is the blue box in the picture below. You can read more information here (I have the 1200VA model):

thx, OS ... the phoenix 1200 is an inverter that I am looking very closely at ...

seems very robust and well put together ...

have you done any stress-tests or so?...
