xantrex scp question

hi all

before i take an action, does anybody use xantrex xw system control panel 865-1050 2units at different location with 1 units xantrex xw6048 inverter ?

i mean i want to install 2units scp, at power room and living room, to monitor 1 inverter xw6048 at power room.

between power room and living room not more than 75feet.

Yes, many times without issue. Total network length less than 130 feet.

Another option is a ComBox for the second point of monitoring. If you have a home network wired or with WiFi you can use a Android tablet at least 7 in screen or other computer, tablet notebook etc to view. ComBox is missing a couple of features in firmware for full control but if you have a SCP on the network they can be activated from it. I am bugging tech support to include in ComBox firmware update. They are the enhanced interactive mode for the MPPT 60-150 and the XW. And the gen support mode for small generator to balance leg loads.

interesting part of combox, and yes my home already install networking and wifi.
can i monitor it with ipad or iphone ?

Don't know about a iPhone but yes it will work on IPad. Works on mine, have chrome installed but works from safari etc. You can monitor and change settings from it except for the two I mentioned. It also, logs to a micro-SD card that can be brought up or saved into Excel format.
