Arc Fault Circuit Breakers for Outback PS2AC

I recently purchased some used Outback gear and would like to know if I can get arc fault breakers for it? It is filled with CBI din rail mount breakers. CBI does not list any arc fault breakers that would work in the PS2AC. Why would a manufacturer sell something that is not NEC compliant or can be brought up to compliance?

When that was sold it was compliant: NEC did not have any arc-fault requirement and there's no way Outback could have known any such requirement would be added.

If you want arc-fault protection I'd suggest you buy new MidNite equipment that has it built-in. Trying to retrofit old equipment is not going to be easy. Presently, in fact, there seems to be no way for any equipment to be retrofitted with such protection. Once again the regulations are ahead of there being any easy method of compliance. Dumb, eh?

My 2002 NEC Code Book article 210.12 states that all dwelling unit bedrooms must be arc fault protected, the equipment was made in the 4th quarter of 2006 so I guess you could not use it for dwelling unit bedrooms.

We all know that article 210.12 has gotten more inclusive to the point that 2014 code states all dwelling unit outlets shall be arc fault protected. I know I could use a service disconnect panel but it would be nice to keep it simple and use the PS2AC as my service panel.
