    And here's the government of British Columbia wanting to go full speed ahead on LNG exports to Asia.

    And you know why? because they get a better price than in the Nat Gas glut land of North America. The USA is also getting on the LNG terminal bandwagon.

    And if they build the additional LNG capacity, it's likely the price of LNG in Asia will drop, making it once again competitive with solar. That's also likely to raise the price for natural gas in the U.S. and Canada.

    …which is probably a good thing, overall. Right now the Bakken oil fields in North Dakota are just flaring off most of their natural gas production because it's not economically worthwhile to ship it to market. I think everyone can agree that's the worst possible thing to be doing for the environment and future availability of this resource.
