Coming out of winter

Just a observation about the day's length and Sun height.

It's good to see the days getting longer and the sun a little higher in the sky. The past few days the batteries were at full charge and on to float by 1:00 PM several days in a row.

I do have a wind turbine and it's producing around 100 to 150 watts in a good breeze 10+MPH. I would say it's spinning about 15% of the time and any time I look I am making at least 20 to 30 watts about 50% of the time. Using 24 hrs as the time base.

470 total watts of solar and 100 watts of Wind Power
660 AHr of Golf Cart Batt's
( I know I'm a little week on solar but with the wind turbine I have not had a low voltage alarm in over 2 months. I live on top of a hill and there is always some wind blowing)

Some day I'll put in my signature line my whole set up.

Enjoy the Sun 8)
