I am having a hard time disconnecting mc4 connectors.

Its cold outside and im having a hard time dissconecting my mc4 connectors. I have a branch connector that just doesnt want to cooperate and come apart? Any suggestions or tricks for removal without specialty tools?

    There is a simple solution..it is called an MC4 disconnect tool and is on amazon or ebay. I would suggest getting a pair of them. There are videos of how to use the tool on youtube.

    Besides the tools which are worth getting is to possibly use a hair dryer to warm them, you may have some moisture/ice buildup inside the connector. Tools are not very expensive and worth having.
