NEED Extruded ABS Sheeting for reasonable price!

So I need a face plate for my generator to mount the ameters, 12V ports and some switches.

Interstate plastics looked reasonable at first 2'X2'X.25" sheet was $15....... Then they wanted an additional $15.00 for processing.....SERIOUSLY? Then shipping $13.42.......For an item that weighs under 2LB.s?

TAP plastics I have locally and can go to their store however no ABS sheets are available and am told I have to order....... Total is $36.00

I am seriously feeling a little disparaged, and kicked around as a consumer, the only reason these companies jack the price on "RECYCLED" ABS is because I can't find a resource to get it any where else.

So does any one have a good place where I can just get a recycled sheet of extruded ABS 2'X2' and atleast a 1/4" thick?

Try plexiglass from the local hardware/building supply.

Fiber glass is electric proof and weather resistant?

I got mine through Amazon at a reasonable price. With the Amazon Prime, I got 2 day shipping for free.

I will look into amazon since I am a prime member. Tried looking the other day and couldn't find a sheet in 1/4" thick.
I prefer ABS (extruded or machined) for its tolerance to heat, and because its easy to machine and clean up the corners, it also matches my black box, and meters.

They have bigger sizes but the price jumps pretty quick.

Yeah I just bought it from them in the 1/8" thick sheet. I think I will do fine with it.
