solar hot water

Im new here, this is my 2nd post.
I heat my house with a kerr tw2000 wood fired boiler. My domestic hot water is preheated with a 2 panel solar boiler,(thermo Dynamics) on sunny days I have an abundance of hot water, can I redirect this waste into my boiler through the domestic coil in the boiler, and heat my boiler water a little?
Im kind of thinking there may be toooooo much loss as I would be exchanging it twice, any ideas ?
I,got a quote to heat with more panels it was too much ($7000) not worth it, as my wood bill is 500/year
