Problems with Dutch panels

Likely not an issue for those of us in North America but there are 650,000 of these Dutch panels throughout Europe that may pose a fire hazard. Sounds like a combination of older panels and hot sun can cause an arc in the junction box on the panel itself which could lead to a fire. It is the Multisol model by Scheuten. The junction box was made by Alrack.

Unfortunately for owners, the company went bankrupt last year. Apparently they knew of the issue in 2010.
