Small balanced system

I have a small log cabin used in the summer by our college kids . Just for a light or 2 and to charge ipad phone . Half my home system . Could add another panel and battery later if needed . What do you think ?

Off grid since 1984. 430w of panel, 300w suresine , 4 gc batteries 12v system, Rogue mpt3024 charge controller , air breeze windmill, Mikita 2400w generator . Added 2@ 100w panel with a midnight brat

    Unless you've already got a Rogue to use you'll have to wait for the new ones.
    Otherwise the 15 Amp Morniningstar MPPT would handle that one panel. You'd be limited to 15 Amps output of course.
    Might be cheaper to get two "12 Volt" panels & a PWM controller. A 245 Watt panel is about $250, another $225 for the controller: $475 Sometimes you can get some bargains on 140 Watt panels, add an inexpensive controller (SunSaver 20 Amp about $80) and come out ahead.

    I have a rogue and thought if I had trouble I could swap them out . To keep my house up and running . The heck with them teens ! :0)
