solar power for a 6 watt sub water pump

I am buying a 150 watt solar panel from an individual and want to power a 6w pump. could anyone tell me what type of charge controller and battery i might need. the pump is dc and will have to run about 12 hours a day with a timer.

Welcome to the forum.
We need a bit more information, please. It would be very important to know what Voltage the pump is designed to run on. That would determine the proper battery Voltage, and then the Amp hours can be worked out from the Watts and run time.
The specifications of the solar panel are important too, although a 150 Watt panel is most likely a "12 Volt" panel. Still, details like this are important for getting the design right. -

thank you for the reply, the panel is 12v, and the pump is at .65 amp, I am not really sure about any other info on the panel needed, i will look though, i really do appreciate the reply.
