Lots of 12Vdc (auto) adapters available to run a laptop, but few DC-DC converters available to tap a 24V storage bank for your 19Vdc laptop. Here's the one I use (rated @ 4A):

Also, I charge my laptop battery to aprox 50% SOC and then remove and store it in a cool location when connected to my 24V bank.
