Parallel Connection on Solar Panels

Earlier this month, someone gave me this link that shows how to wire batteries in parallel to make sure you are spreading the load across them all evenly.

Just out of curiosity, does the same advice matter for how you wire the solar panels for parallel configuration?

    Since the solar panels are current sources rather than voltage sources, the way you wire them in parallel does not matter as long as each wire in the system is sized large enough for the current that it is carrying. (That is, smaller wire from panels to combiner, larger wires from combiner to CC, etc.)
    SMA SB 3000, old BP panels.
