I know that some of our members are along or are off the BC coast. Hope that all of you are okay after last night's earthquake.

    Luckily the quake was a horizontal sliding of the plates and not a vertical one, resulting in a 40cm wave height rather than one measured in feet or meters. the shaking on the Queen Charlotte Islands was significant though according to the interviews on CBC Radio this morning people had difficulty standing up...
