Hi,
I would love to hear reccomendations on the controllers marketed by CIRKITS.com? I would love to have a charger I might be able to fix:)
Thanks,

No current limit ... not good

    No box, not good

For the $$ you can get a UL approved one here

As for fixing them yourself, these things last close to forever ( simple PWM controllers )

It might be worth confirming the UL listing for the SunSaver; I couldn't find it. I believe the TriStar is Morningstar's only UL-listed controller. The SureSine inverter is also UL-listed.

The SunSaver is nonetheless a good basic PWM controller. I've been using its SunLight cousin with a 40 W modules to charge a flooded-cell battery and control my deck, path, and shed LED lights for several years with zero controller problems.

    Hi Solar,
I am new to this. What does it mean that there is no current limit?
    Thanks,
