Recomendation on L-16 baterys

I am looking to replace my batteries with some L16s. I was looking for some feedback on which ones are better. I think I have narrowed it down to 2 different ones.

Trojan L16RE-B
Surrette S-530

Any experience on one battery over the other for service life?

    Read some nice things about the new Trojan RE batteries (use much less water). Not sure anyone here has had them long enough to evaluate how they will last over the years.

    Quite a few recent complaints about earlier life failures (within a few years). Does not sound like they have fixed the problem(s) yet.

    I have owned S530s for the last five years and it is time to replace them. I think I'm going to try a different manufacturer next time.
