Is it 2.2 kW for XX Hours on 10 liters of methanol?

Or is it 2.2 kWH on 10 liters of methanol?

Looking around... Ah--those are fuel cells.

And they produce around 0.9 kWH per lter of fuel... That is not bad. A Honda eu2000i will produce around 3-5 kWH per gallon of gasoline. However, note that these are pretty low power devices... Only 2 - 7.5 Amps @ 12 volts of output (depending on model). You will still need a battery bank to provide power for your larger loads and be recharged by the EFOY.

Check the pricing of the fuel cartridges... I am not sure you can just buy a 5 gallon can of methanol and dump it in.
