Battery hook up...

Some time back I read a post that talked about the proper way to connect batteries. It had a few different diagrams showing correct and incorrect wiring. I've lost the link and can't seem to find it doing a search. Can anyone remember it and show me the link? I'll wave my hand and make your entire system 1% more efficient!
