Combiner/Disconnect

Is there a Solar Combiner/Disconnect with multiple outputs? For example feeding two smaller inverters or ect.

Thanks,
Philip

    Hi Phillip,

My quick shot at this is:
I the two loads from the combiner are close to each other, to run the single output from the combiner to the location of the inverters/other loads on the PV. Then in add additional breakers feeding each of the loads that are on the PV, each of these loads needs its own breaker anyway.

You might need to increase the size of the wire run from the combiner to the breaker box, if your load current is increasing very much -- you would want to check this anyway.

Midnite solar offers many nice breakers and boxes for just this type of application:

Just my opinion. Good Luck, Vic

Was poking around on the Midnite site, and noted that this combiner allows segmentation ... Manual:

Just FYI if you still care. Vic
